French family with 3 children: Amicie (13 years old born in Paris), Capucine (11 years old born in Brazil) and Briac (2 years old born in Mexico) leaving in The Hague (close to the Peace Palace) in an entire house.
After having spent 13 years in Latin America (Brazil then Mexico) we are back to Europe and would like to keep the Latin culture at home and also looking at support to balance the time between each child as in Latin America: help in cleaning / cooking for kids and take care of our Briac who is 2 years old.

Hi - we recently moved to The Hague from the U.S. and are looking for part time care for our 8 yr old (October) daughter. She is very personable with lots of positive energy. We are looking for some occasional baby sitting and possibly some to and from school transport...
We are a South African couple living in the Netherlands with our 5 year old dachshund, Bentley. This is not a "normal" au pair request as we are looking for a loving caretaker/au pair for Bentley, who has paralysis in his hind legs due to IVDD. We are very flexible in terms of the type of contract - it can either be a stay in/out au pair/caretaker. As Bentley is moving around in a wheelchair, he needs supervision during the day and both of us have full time jobs. For the past 5 months he went to a pet sitter while we were at work, but she will be moving back to her home country as her internship in the Netherlands is coming to an end.
His ideal pet sitter will have to do the following:
Supervision while we are at work
Take him daily for three walks (15 to 30 minutes) during which he can play ball, as this is his favourite activity!
Daily do a few physiotherapy exercises with him; it is very basic exercises but this will help him to improve his balance and strength.
Love him and cuddle him a lot!
What is important to know is that he cannot be in his wheelchair all day. He is quite good at communicating and will show through body language when he wants to lie down/chill/sleep/sit on the couch (don’t worry, you will quickly learn this). He has
bladder control but if he does not go out for his regular walks or even just a garden visit, accidents do unfortunately happen. His -control is still somewhat strange and that can happen anywhere, any time. As you get to know him, you will be able to “read the signs” and know when to start running :). He cannot be left alone as he does this “wheelie-thing” with his chair and then he can get stuck and this is very stressful for him. We usually take him everywhere with us over the weekends, so he knows about shopping and hanging out at markets. He also has a stroller and he loves to go for rides in his stroller when he is a bit tired. Usually when we make use of public transport, we put him in the stroller. If he goes for his walks and has a good session of playtime with the ball, he will be so exhausted and nap quite a bit through the day.
Should you be the perfect candidate for this request, please reach out to us!
